Earth Sucks.

But don't worry - it's gravity.

Your TV Dinner.

Okay, technology is acting weird sometimes, but so am I. And others, too, as you are about to witness tonight. First, there's this boy about to fall off from a ride, and (probably) his mother is laughing her face off. Well, I couldn't help doing the same... Stop it! Stop it! Really funny. Oh, and then there's this amazing dog that grew up skateboarding. I mean, gimme a break, this dog is paddling with one foot... paw, whatever, steering even!!! Alright, next, there's Mozart on Rollerblades, and what the Humor Archives called Scratch Card Fun. And with that I'll just leave you alone for the time being until, er, Tubesday. Goonnite.

Crazy.

I must have missed out on this one completely (well, actually I have) when it took off late last year - the song Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. Which is... no, who is... are, er - "Gnarles Barkley is the highly anticipated collaboration from Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo. Cee-Lo is a Grammy-nominated, founding member of Goodie Mob. DJ Danger Mouse is a Hip-Hop producer who became known as the creator of the first Bastard-Pop album early 2004". He took a track each from the Beatles' White Album and Jay-Z's Black Album, mixed the two and called the result the Black-White Album (later the Grey Album). However, the GB album is called St. Elsewhere, and while being highly enjoyable, the first single Crazy became the first downloadable song ever to top the British charts. Nice album, as well as nice video. It's a Flash stream, so it should run even on dial ups.

Not A Solution.

I have written about many things I consider injustice, politically incorrect - things that are plain wrong in my not so humble opinion. Quite some of those posts mentioned the U.S. of A. who I have been criticizing repeatedly. Now there's one thing I'd like to get straight - I don't have anything against America or its citizens per se. However, I cannot accept the way America decides what is good for the world, because that way has nothing to do with democracy - quite the contrary. Howard Zinn, the writer of 'A People's History of the United States' - an important book for every world citizen to read* - has written a compact article in the Boston Globe titled 'War Is Not A Solution For Terrorism'. You can find it here. The reason why I keep revisiting this subject is simple - at the latest the war in Iraq should have made clear that no military means exist to successfully install peace and democracy, and the fatal error of Israel thinking they could defeat Hezbollah within a couple of days left them weaker than ever before. The western categories of the world cease to exist. The so-called Third World is fed up with being exploited. Did you ever wonder why a continent like Africa, with huge oil fields and the world's largest diamond mines still is starving? Western companies and corrupt governments, that's where the money goes. We're on the edge of a new age, and if we don't pay attention we'll have to start all over again...
